Abstract

This report is one of a series about planted timber on the major islands in the State of Hawaii.Reports for the islands of Hawaii (1965), Kauai (1965), and Lanai (1966) have alreadybeen published.Summarized here are the results of an inventory of timber in planted forests on the island of Molokai.This in- ventory supplements the initial Forest Survey of the State com- pleted in 1963.That survey indicated the importance of planted forests as a timber resource but provided no details.
