Abstract
Studies on the temperature dependences of the IR absorption spectrum and magnetic susceptibility of CsDy(MoO4)2 revealed a structural phase transition at a temperature of ∼38°K. The phase transition is accompanied by a temperature hysterisis in the range of ∼ 1 °C, and is apparently a transition of the first kind.
