Abstract

The adiabatic theory for the electron-ripplon interaction has been employed to calculate the temperature dependence of the surface electron mobility in helium. From 0.9 to 0.5°K the electron mobility is approximately inversely proportional to the temperature T, which differs significantly from the low-temperature asymptotic form, proportional to T−2.
