Abstract

The effect of a tunnel current on the superconducting state of the films forming a tunnel contact is investigated. It is shown that, for potentials at the tunnel contact eV<Δ1 + Δ2 (Δ1 and Δ2 are the energy gaps of the first and second films, respectively), there may be an increase in the gaps and a rise in the critical temperatures of the films.
