Abstract
Equations describing the relaxation of electron and phonon temperature, the effective chemical potential of quasiparticles, and the energy gap are analyzed on the basis of the kinetic equations for electrons and phonons in superconductors as well as the equation for the nonequilibrium-order parameter which the authors have derived in an earlier study. The corresponding relaxation times are also calculated.
