Abstract

The magnetization distribution around dislocations is investigated in ferromagnets with uniaxial and cubic anisotropy by taking account of the energy of an inhomogeneous exchange interaction and the nonsymmetry of the distortion tensor. The distribution of deviations of the magnetic moments around screw and edge dislocations in iron is computed.
