Abstract

We investigate single-particle localized states of a one-dimensional ferromagnetic system with anisotropic exchange in the presence of an antiferromagnetic impurity with spin S′ = 1/2. We calculate the energies and wave functions of the ground and excited states. We consider the excitation of single-particle local levels by an external microwave field at low temperatures.
