Abstract
The temperature dependences of the electrical conduction and thermal emf of wüstite (Fe1-xO) specimens with different amounts of vacancies (0.046 ≤ x ≤0.083) are measured in the temperature interval 65° to 400°K. The free carrier mobility and its temperature behavior are determined. The polaron radius and binding energy and the electron-phonon interaction constant are estimated. A conduction mechanism is suggested.
