Abstract
Two-magnon absorption in the collinear phase of a biaxial low-dimensional antiferromagnet has been calculated in the linear approximation in an ultra-high-frequency field. It has been shown that if the uhf vector h is parallel to the easy axis, four types of two-magnon absorption are possible, corresponding to the excitation of two magnons from the same branch (or different branches) of the spectrum and also to the excitation of a magnon of the high-frequency branch as the result of the interaction of a uhf-field quantum with a magnon of the low-frequency branch of the spectrum. Absorption coefficients are calculated as functions of the frequency, the applied magnetic field, and the temperature.
