Abstract

The method of two-time Green's functions is used to obtain an expression for the absorption coefficient of a longitudinally polarized uhf field in a quasi-two-dimensional biaxial antiferromagnet in magnetic fields exceeding the reversal field of the magnetic sublattices. It is shown that the magnitude of the absorption is determined by the coupling of the uhf field with the low-frequency magnons through the antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) of the high-frequency branch. The integrated intensity of the absorption under consideration is comparable with the integrated intensity on the AFMR.
