Abstract

The behavior of the creep-deformation increment δϵns in the superconducting transition of lead with paramagnetic impurities of nickel is investigated. It is shown that the paramagnetic impurity significantly affects the electron spectrum of the superconductor and leads to temperature and concentrational dependences of the work-hardening considerably different from those in alloys with nonmagnetic impurities. The experimental data obtained are compared with theories relating to the effect of magnetic impurities on superconductor properties.
