Abstract

A study was made of microwave power absorption in a quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnetic, CsMnCl3·H2O, at frequencies of 25–130 GHz and T = 1.46°K. Uniform antiferromagnetic resonance associated with excitation of the upper branches was investigated. The absorption spectrum exhibited features due to the low-dimensional magnetic structure of one crystal, viz., two-magnon subthreshold absorption involving magnons from the upper and lower branches of the spin-wave spectrum.
