Abstract
The effect of a strong electric field E on quantum oscillations of the conductivity of a bulk metal conductor in crossed electric and magnetic fields is investigated. It is shown that the amplitude of the oscillations decreases as the electric field increases. In sufficiently high fields, when the electron acquires in a length equal to the Larmor radius an energy comparable with the distance between discrete levels the relation between the electrical conductivity and E becomes oscillatory.
