Abstract

The temperature dependence of the specific heat of CsDy(MoO4)2 is reported for the range 37-52°K. There is an anomaly in Cp(T) at T = 42.03 ± 0.01°K that corresponds to a first-order transition. Changes in the thermodynamic functions in the transition region have been determined.
