Abstract

The fluctuation conductivity is calculated for a granular metal film deposited on a nonconducting cylinder. For appropriate values of the parameters of the model it is anisotropic, i.e., has different components along the cylinder axis (δ‖) and perpendicular to it (δ⊥). The longitudinal (ξ‖) and transverse (ξ⊥) coherence lengths differ accordingly. The longitudinal component of the conductivity oscillates as a function of the field, the amplitude of these oscillations being proportional to exp (− L/ξ⊥), where L is the perimeter of the cylinder cross section.
