Abstract

It has been found that in strong transverse magnetic fields the interaction of the charge carriers with twinning planes leads to the nonreproducibility of the longitudinal-voltage signals when the magnetic field is reversed. It can generally be concluded on the basis of the data obtained that the discrepancy in a number of cases between the measured dependences and the predicted asymptotic forms of the magnetoresistivity tensor components is due to the crystal-lattice defects, which distort the current lines in the samples.
