Abstract
Special features of phase equilibrium in liquid Ne−H2 solutions are examined using the thermodynamic perturbation theory. In the 26−31.14 °K temperature interval, the pressure and composition of the azeotropic mixture are determined, as are the phase separation curve and the parameters of the upper critical separation (consolute) temperature. An analog is established for the well-known “law of equal areas,” which allows calculation of the composition of heterogeneous phases.
