Abstract

The characteristic of the skin effect in a superconductor carrying a current higher than the critical current are elucidated. It is suggested that the dependence on the current strength of the thickness of the normal-metal coating of the intermediate state can be studied through the measurement of the frequency dispersion of the dynamical resistance of the sample. The nonlinear effects are discussed.
