Abstract

Using polarization spectroscopy, a weak uncompensated magnetic moment directed along the hexogonal axis is shown to exist in a CsMnF3 crystal. The magnitude of the moment is estimated as mz ≲ 0.2 cgsm/cm3. The weak ferrimagnetic domains (WFM) in the specimen were photographed in quasimonochromatic light with a wavelength corresponding to the exciton absorption line.
