Abstract
We report Raman scattering and IR reflection spectra of KSc(MoO4)2 and other trigonal molybdates and tungstates over the temperature range 4–300 °K. The changes in the spectra in the asymmetric phases are analyzed. The mechanism for the phase transition to the monoclinic phase is discussed.
