Abstract
The luminescence and excitation spectra of antiferromagnetic RbMnCl3 and CsMnCl3 crystals are investigated. Exciton autolocalization has been found. The nature of exciton motion in antiferromagnetic CsMnF3, NaMnCl3, RbMnCl3, and CsMnCl3 crystals is compared. It is shown that the interaction of an exciton with lattice vibrations exerts a decisive influence on the electron excitation energy transport process.
