Abstract

The antiferromagnetic resonance of the quasi-two-dimensional antiferromagnet (NH3)2(CH2)3MnCl4 has been investigated in the frequency range 20–180 GHz at helium temperature. In addition to the acoustic branches we have detected optical (or exchange) branches in the AFMR spectrum and have determined their frequencies.
