Abstract

The contribution of small electronic groups, localized on dislocations, to the paramagnetic susceptibility of metals is analyzed. It is shown that under conditions close to a 2 ½-order topological transition and at sufficiently low temperatures, the dislocation correction to the susceptibility can undergo quantum oscillations as a function of the parameters controlling the chemical potential of the electrons.
