Abstract
It is shown that the axial symmetry of the ground state of quasi-two-dimensional electrons interacting with a nonlinear isotropic elastic medium can be broken by an external magnetic field oriented perpendicular to the plane of electron motion.- Systems are presented which are suitable for the observations of the above effect.
