Abstract
The results of an experimental investigation of the resistive states of a superconducting channel in a uhf field are presented. It is established that as the irradiation power increases, discrete resistive states appear in the sample, and their number decreases with increasing irradiation frequency. It was found that under certain conditions the change in the number of discrete resistive states in the sample is accompanied by the formation of a nonequilibrium normal state in the sample. The observed features are associated with the features of the relaxation of the population unbalance in the branches of the quasiparticle spectrum in electromagnetic fields.
