Abstract

A method is developed whereby it is possible to take simultaneous account of the total contribution of the processes of ordinary and Andreev localization of resonance excitations to the nonlinear attenuation of longitudinal short-wave length sound in superconductors. It is shown that each type of nonlinearity is characterized by its own nonlinear parameter and can occur in pure form in the domain of the external parameters where its threshold is a minimum and at sound amplitudes near that threshold.
