Abstract

The penetration of a magnetic field H into the superconducting single-crystal Pb–ln, containing dislocations surrounded by an atmosphere of impurity atoms was investigated by the method of amplitude-dependent internal friction. It was found that the magnetic field penetrates into a single crystal containing such defects if H <Hc10. The dependence of the dislocation internal friction δ on H has the form of a curve with a peak situated near Hc10. The influence of the temperature and the amplitude of deformation on the function δ(H) was studied. The results indicate that the critical superconducting parameters change in the region of the crystal where the content of the components of the alloy changes locally.
