Abstract
Experimental observations have shown that when an external magnetic field is oriented exactly along the “easy” axis of a CuCl2 · 2H2O crystal the frequency-field dependences of the antiferromagnetic resonance lines and the exchange modes have discontinuities in the vicinity of the spin-flip field of the magnetic sublattices. This establishes the existence of an intermediate state in the crystal.
