Abstract

Structural studies have revealed that the components of the deuteromethane–krypton system have an unlimited mutual solubility at T > 5 K. The influence of krypton on the phase transition temperatures and on some characteristics of orientationally ordered deuteromethane phases has been investigated. The concentration boundaries of existence of ordered phases in solid solutions have been found. The experimental data suggest that regions of short-range orientational order can form in disordered solutions.
