Abstract

For the first time the temperature dependence of the superradiance intensity in a solid, a diphenyl molecular crystal doped with pyrene, has been obtained, in the temperature range from 1.5 to 4.2 K. The results obtained provide further confirmation of the existence of a superradiant state in this crystal. A probable mechanism is proposed to explain the experimental results.
