Abstract

The problem of vortex interaction in a current-loaded film is studied. This interaction can lead to the appearance of a transverse, relative to the transport current, voltage. It appears owing to the recombination of a vortex and an antivortex, which enter the films from opposite sides. The transverse current–voltage characteristic (IVC) of the film is nonmonotonic. As a result of the nonequilibrium state, when the vortices move rapidly hysteresis can appear in the IVC.
