Abstract
An investigation has been carried out of the features of the macro and microplasticity of single crystals of lead with thallium impurity, and their change at the n−s transition, in the concentration range from 3 · 10−5 to 3 · 10−2. A correlation was found between the results on the influence of impurity on the change at the n−s transition, both of the flow stress (in active deformation experiments) and of the stress amplitude corresponding to a constant value of the amplitude-dependent part of the attenuation coefficient (in internal friction experiments). This enabled a single power law to be established for this influence over the concentration range studied.
