Abstract
It is shown that the transformation of magnetoacoustic resonance (MAR) on open periodic paths as a result of a deviation of the magnetic field H by a small angle θ from the plane perpendicular to the direction of opening produces a new phenomenon: “collisionless” MAR, where the height of the peaks of the sound absorption coefficient Γ does not depend on the relaxation time, but exceeds the characteristic values of the Landau collisionless absorption. Moreover, the structure of the MAR peaks changes abruptly; Γ has an oscillating dependence on θ and H in the vincinity of the peaks.
