Abstract

Raman light scattering in the antiferromagnet CuCI2·2H2O is discussed in terms of a four-sublattice model. The treatment is carried out for H∥x and T = 0. We study the magnetic field dependence of the scattered intensity and discuss the possibility of observing the exchange branches via Raman scattering.
