Abstract

Abstract Channeling of relativistic electrons in (111) planar direction in a diamond crystal and the channeling radiation spectra are investigated using computer simulation by the binary collisions model and using the model of a continuum potential of the atomic planes. The calculations are performed for electrons with the energy E 0 = 900 MeV. The peculiarities revealed of the angular distributions and radiation spectra of electrons in the atomic‐ and molecular‐type states allow to discern these channeling states in the experiment.
