Abstract
The effect of hydrostatic pressure (up to 10 kbar) on the magnetic properties of the rhombic antiferromagnet (C2H5NH3)2CuCl4 has been studied. The pressure dependences of the Néel temperature and also of the spin-flop and spin-flip transitions have been obtained. A phase transition of the Morin type was found in the region of pressure 6−7 kbar, induced by external pressure. It is shown that the law of corresponding states holds for the H−T diagram of (C2H5NH3)2CuCl4.
