Abstract

The role of fluctuation effects accompanying phase transitions of the spin-reorientation type in rare-earth magnets (orthoferrites, ferrites-garnets, etc.) is analyzed. It is shown that the most significant and observable fluctuation correction to the thermodynamic quantities in the critical region is nonsingular and is determined by magnetic interactions in the rare-earth subsystem.
