Abstract

Spectroscopic data for KDy(MoO4)2 in the long-wave IR region are considered. The measurements are made directly in the frequency range corresponding to the energy separation between two lower levels of the ground term 6H15/2 of the Dy3+ ions. The measurement of the Zeeman effect in the longitudinal and transverse magnetic fields makes it possible to resolve the electron and phonon lines in the low-frequency spectrum of KDy(MoO4)2.
