Abstract
The laser-probe method is used to study the resistive state of narrow superconducting channels under conditions of generation of non-Josephson oscillations in them. It is proved for the first time through direct experiments that the generation begins in the resistive region of the phase-slip center upon the attainment of a certain threshold value of the current density. The structure of the resistive state is static in space under these conditions.
