Abstract

The experimental results on non-Josephson generation in Al films are considered. Electromagnetic oscillations with a frequency of 106−5·105 Hz were observed for films of different geometries. For “narrow” (compared to lE) samples, the generation current density extrapolated to T = 0 was about 9.5·105 A/cm2 while for “broad” samples it was about 6·105 A/cm2. A strong dependence of the generation frequency on the current and temperature variations was observed.
