Abstract

The temperature dependence of the unit cell parameters of rhombic CsDy0.93Eu0.07(MoO4)2 is studied in the temperature range 4.2−300 K. Structural phase transitions are observed in the regions of 200−220, 50−70, and 20−30 K, and are accompanied by a twinning of the crystal. Peculiarities of the structural distortions in the low-temperature phase of the layered compound CsDy0.93Eu0.07(MoO4)2 are discussed.
