Abstract

The nonlinearity in transverse focusing of electrons, associated with a change in the size of electron trajectories in a magnetic field H upon an increase in the emitter voltage Ve, is predicted. It is shown that the dependence of the collector signal on the quantities Ve and H is not symmetric with respect to the reversal of the emitter current.
