Abstract
Copper and sodium point-contacts with a strong anisotropy in the dependence of the spectral noise density SV(eV) on the current direction in the junction are investigated. The asymmetry in the SV(eV) dependence is attributed to the difference in the scattering conditions for nonequilibrium phonons at the faces of the contact.
