Abstract

The magnetic susceptibility of a metamagnet MnSiF6·6H2O with single-ion anisotropy is measured in a 3He−4He dilution refrigerator (in the temperature range from 4.2 to 0.05 K). The magnetic characteristics are analyzed in the molecular field approximation. The parameters of intra- and intersublattice exchange interaction as well as the Néel temperature are calculated.
