Threshold pumping fields and parametric excitation of exchange spin waves in low-dimensional four-sublattice antiferromagnets

Abstract

Characteristic features of parametric excitation of spin waves in a quasi-two-dimensional four-sublattice antiferromagnet with a noncollinear magnetic structure are considered. It is found that the instability of spin waves in the systems under consideration increases appreciably due to the appearance of additional resonances near the pumping frequency. Moreover, new high-intensity pumping channels emerge, which disappear if the system is a multi-sublattice collinear or two-sublattice noncollinear one.
