Localized dissipative formations of weakly bound superconducting structures

Abstract

The possibility of isolating “quanta” of dissipative formations in granulated superconducting films is used for experimental studies of the bonds between granules. Samples prepared with different sputtering parameters are classified according to the nature of manifestation of gap singularities in them, and according to the magnetic field dependence of the critical current. A comparison with theoretical models is carried out. It is shown that purely Josephson bonds are formed between the granules of the films prepared in such a way that a part of conduction electrons is localized in them and hence the mean critical density in these films is less than 2·102 A/cm2.
