Abstract

X-ray diffractionai studies of O2–N2 solid solutions have been carried out. The equilibrium phase diagram of these solutions is found to differ considerably from that available in the literature. The temperature-concentration position of three eutectoid transformation points and the boundaries of mutual solubilities of components are determined. A metastable x-phase has been discovered and investigated.
