Abstract

Phase transition of YBa2Cu3O7–δ HTS ceramics is investigated experimentally by the SQUID method in weak (10−10−10−5 T) magnetic fields. It is found that a low-temperature excess noise emerging at T1 in the phase transition region correlates with typical variations of the real (χ′) and imaginary (χ″) components of magnetic susceptibility with temperature. An analysis of the spectral density Sn (f) of the noise indicates that it is due to peculiarities of the ceramic and exists even in zero magnetic field.
