Abstract
The jump in the flow stress during the superconducting transition is measured in the absence (Δτsn , B0 = 0) and presence (Δτsn) of a trapped magnetic flux in Pb-Sb alloys subjected to aging in order to change their defect structure. The samples were deformed by stretching at a constant rate 7·10−5 s−1 at T = 4.2 K, and their state was varied with the help of the magnetic field produced by a superconducting solenoid. The dependences of the quantities B0, Δτsn and Δτ′sn on aging time are obtained. It is shown that Δτsn does not change with aging, while the concentration dependences Δτsn (c) and Δτ′sn (c) are considerably different. A correlation is established between the effective stresses and the quantity Δτsn.
