Abstract
The dependences of maximum intensity, delay time and single superradiance pulse width on transverse relaxation time for different initial inversion of emitters have been obtained in analytic form by using a semiclassical approach involving effective description of radiative field decay in the bulk of a sample. Superradiance conditions are refined and the restrictions on initial inversion are determined.
